STEEL DOOR FRAME 1 INSTALLATION

STEP 1

• Mark out position of doors and position frame correctly.
• Ensure door opening is either on the left or right hand.

STEP 2

• Drive the nail into the ends of two lengths of timber to prop up door frame.
• Stand the door frame and hook the nail onto the top edge of the frame.

STEP 3

• Using a level, plumb the frame by moving the stays.
• When it is plumb, secure the timber stays with a couple of bricks corner tags and ensure it stay still.

STEP 4

Start the brickwork by positioning bricks inside the door frame.

STEP 5

Place mortar into the gap between the brick and the frame to make it rigid and strong.

STEP 6

• Install brick tiles provided.
• These should be used to tie in the brickwork every fourth or fifth brick course.
